So lately I have come to the conclusion that I am going to be alone forever. Thats what I am truly scared of. Yes, i have wonderful family around me. And wonderful friends, but I long to feel that love again from someone else. Someone I can call a love. I know this sounds soppy, but I mean, no one really reads my blog anyways. So basically I am just writing to myself.
I am scared I will never be able to experience what it truely is to fall in love. I have begun asking people like my mom and rochelle, how did you know that they were the one. Did some lightening hit and the earth had flashes of light or did you have this gut feeling and the butterflies started to rise up into your throat. They said they couldnt explain it. Mom started to joke around and say she really didnt know dad is still the one. haha, eventhough theyve been together for 20 years.
What exactly is love? Can you only define it if you are in love? Doesnt everyone have theyre own definition of love?
So whenever I wonder what something is, I always google it. so heres what wikipedia had to say.
Love is any of a number of emotions related to a sense of strong affection[1] and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure (“I loved that meal”) to intense interpersonal attraction (“I love my wife”). This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.
As an abstract concept, love usually refers to a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person. Even this limited conception of love, however, encompasses a wealth of different feelings, from the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love to the nonsexual emotional closeness of familial and platonic love[2] to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love.[3] Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.
